    • Learn about the gut-brain connection and the importance of feeding your 'flora.'

    • Explore the foods that fight Depression, Anxiety, PTSD, OCD, ADHD, and the hidden connections among food, our mood, and the brain.

    • Develop a personalized diet based on your brain type for improved energy, focus, and mental clarity.
  • STRESS-PROOF YOUR BRAIN

    While stress is a natural part of life, you don't have to let it get in the way of your health and happiness.  This week, you'll:


    • Explore how thinking and feeling are entwined and how they directly affect the stress response in your brain and body.

    • Learn about the long-term effects of how chronic stress effects both the brain and the body and what you can do to reduce it.

    • Disover powerful practices that can rewire your brain's response to stress so that you can more easily relax and recover.

    • Create balance in your body to improve your immune system and prevent chronic diseases.
  • THE IMPORTANCE OF SLEEP

    Quality sleep is the highest impact thing you can do to elevate your brain function, live longer, and perform better at work and life. This week you will :


    • Learn about the intimate interplay between neurotransmitters, sleep, and your mental health.

    • The benefits of napping and how your unique wiring determines your most energetic times of day. 

    • How sleep is critical to reducing inflammation and chronic illnesses such as Alzheimers and dementia.
  • EXERCISE AND YOUR BRAIN

    This week we will take a deep dive into exercise and aging.  During this lesson, you'll discover:


    • Why exercise improves your brain health and what type of exercises are right for your brain type.  

    • The relationship between exercise, mood, and mental health. 

    • How to optimize your physical wellbeing through a customized workout plan.
  • PROTECTING YOUR BRAIN IN A TOXIC WORLD

    We'll take a deep dive into how address our current challenges, thrive despite unpredictability, and preserve our health, safety, and wellness. We will:


    • Talk about how our brains are being constantly hijacked, resulting in behaviors that leave us more lonely, anxious, depressed, and distrustful.

    • Learn how to conquer digital distractions that affect your focus (and IQ!)

    • Get clear the role of toxins in our environment and the steps you can take to make healthy lifestyle choices to reduce inflammation and chronic diseases.

    By completing the Better Brain Academy, you'll :

    2. Discover how to minimize the factors that are "hacking" your brain's ability to function at its best. 
    3. Learn practical success strategies for taking charge of your own psychology to overcome mental challenges and obstacles.
    4. Develop unique insights on how to perform at a higher level so that you can close the gap between where you are and where you want to be.
    5. Improve your focus, mood, stress, sleep and memory with simple lifestyle changes.
    6. Achieve a stronger, better, more resilient brain and mind!


  • How much time do I need to invest each week?

    We are all busy, so the course is designed with busy people in mind.


    We recommend setting aside 2-3 hours per week during the 8-week program.

    • Each weekly lesson takes place over Zoom and is recorded if you cannot attend.  
    • Lessons are typically  1 1/2 - 2 hours in length and can include live discussions, short videos, online assessments, and other exercises.
    • Exercises and worksheets are included with each lesson and can take about an hour each week to complete (these are optional but recommended).

    Once the live course is complete, you can dip into and out of any lessons and resources at any time.



  • Why should I take this course over something else?

    Good question!


    The Better Brain Academy is the only program that we know of that combines brain health, neuroscience, mindfulness, and behavioural psychology to get results that are truly life-changing.


    This unique approach gives you the tools and guidance you need to not only improve your brain health but also build a stronger, focused and resilient mind.


    Especially in these difficult times, understanding how to best manage your stress, anxiety and fears is necessary to stay productive and healthy.

  • What time are the weekly lessons?

    Our weekly lessons are held every Weds from 6:00-7:30 PM (PST).


    If you are unable to attend a lesson, you'll have access to a recorded version of the Zoom meeting.
